Tenant Protection Plans
Affordable coverage for your stored belongings with fast enrollment. Plans are priced monthly and included in your total rental fee.
Coverage Levels
Choose a plan at checkout, or decline by providing your own coverage.
$100 Deductible
Per-claim deductible for all protection levels. The deductible is waived for burglary claims when a cylinder or disc padlock is used. The free combination padlock that comes with your unit is not a disc or cylinder lock, so the deductible still applies with it.
Month-to-Month
No long-term commitment. You can leave the plan at any time by showing us your own coverage for stored goods.

Free State Storage requires every renter to protect their stored goods, either with this protection plan or with your own homeowners or renters policy that covers property in storage. If you have your own coverage, you can decline the plan by showing proof of it. The plan may duplicate coverage you already have. It is month-to-month, and you can cancel it at any time by switching to your own coverage.
